So, over the holiday Kyron and I received the most awesome gift art from our friends, Tu and Nick! Nick is this amazing style driven 3d artist who blows me away with each polygon he pushes. Tu is just this guy who sends me Corgi pictures all day … but he got Nick to work his magic on turning the Legend of Fae Title Screen art into fully realized 3d!! After feasting my eyes on it, they fell out of my head!
First I’ll show the art I did for LOF title screen:
He also used this Concept drawing of Claudia for her face :
Get Ready. Here Nick’s 3d Legend of Fae Art:
****Amazing!**** What an awesome job. You don’t know what it feels like to have my own art turned so skillfully into 3d art. It’s such a strange and wonderful feeling see different angles of my own illustration that I didn’t even consider. I’d love to see a 3d Legend of Fae game entirely like this. It would be sooo cute!! Thanks so much Nick & Tu!! ❤
You can see more technical images like wire frames of Nick's statue in his Polycount Thread for it here http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=92851
Also be sure to check out more of his 3d art at his Deviant Art. He has some really great stuff there:

Wooooaaahhhh! Is that really 3d? That’s bananas! That rarely works so well. Also, I love your work on this.. !
Yea Nick is Fantastic at translating a 2d Style into 3d. (check out his killer Bastion Piece http://pyroxene.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4m6385 )
My favorite 3d art pieces are the ones that fool you into thinking it was 2 dimensional art. It takes a lot of skill and dedication to get it to that point.
